Terms and Conditions

Definitions

Seller refers to the website owner – the person to whom the order for the purchase has been given.

Buyer refers to the person or organization placing the order.

Goods or services refers to the product(s) for which the buyer has placed an order for with the seller.

 

Payment

All payments are due upon completion of order.  If a payment is not received or the payment method is declined the order will not be placed for the products and no items will be shipped.  The buyer forfeits the ownership of any items due to non-payment.

 

Products out of stock

In rare cases our suppliers may discountinue an item without notice or because of sudden high demands for a product, inventory levels might change before we update our catalogue.  Since we have hundreds of suppliers it is possible (although rare) that an item shown as "in stock" on our site, might become out of stock just when you place your order, or might be discontinued without notification.  We greatly apologize for the inconvenience of this scenarios.  If this happened, and you have already made a payment to us, we will contact you immediately to notify you of the situation and we will give you the option for an immediate full refund, or, if you are interested, we can also send you a similar product (images and descriptions) that might be of your liking.  If the options aren't what you are completely satisfied with, we will refund the full amount via paypal.  Rest assured, we will always notify you if your order is out of stock and process our refund as soon as we confirm that you do not wish to review other product options.  If we do not hear back from you regarding an interest to view other similar products, we will then process your full refund within 48 hrs of you placing the order.

 

Shipping Policies

Shipping will be paid for by the buyer in the amount calculated by the seller at the time of purchase. Shipping costs may double if shipping internationally or on rush orders.  Our suppliers will ship directly to our clients, so it is possible that we may experience a delay in receiving a tracking number from them when/if it's available.  If an item is damaged during shipping, seller will not be held responsible. The seller and its suppliers will take all reasonable steps to ensure the protection from loss, damage or destruction of the services or materials it supplies the buyer.  We will do our best to ensure your full satisfaction.    When you buy through us, we immediately review your order and as soon as we receive  your payment we ask our supplier to fulfill it directly. We then wait on the supplier to ship your order to you.  Our suppliers are all in the United States and their response time varies from 24 hrs to a full week before shipping.  Please be patient.  We follow through the entire order process and we will provide you with a tracking number if the supplier makes it available to us.  

 

Refund/Return Policy

Items are entitled to be refunded or retuned if the buyer notifies the seller within 20 days of the date of purchase.  The buyer must contact the seller by email: contactus@sweetandsassypets.com.   Not all merchandise is returnable.  Shipping charges incurred for returned merchandise is the responsibility of the buyer.  Consider that in some cases you will ship directly to our supplier, and in some cases to us. We will notify you based on your specific situation and the supplier's instructions as well.

 

Cancellation

An order may be cancelled up until payment has been marked as "processed", which means that your order has already been placed with our suppliers.   Once the payment is processed, the buyer is responsible for the payment.    Please feel free to still contact us and we will do our best to stop your order before the supplier ships it.  We cannot guarantee we will be able to cancel at that point, but we will do our best.  While your order is still in being reviewed by Sweet and Sassy Pets (up to when it is marked as "processed") , we can still cancel and do a full refund. 

 

Complaints

Any complaints about items or the seller should be submitted to our support team.  Please email: contactus@sweetandsassypets.com.  There is no guarantee of a resolution but you can be sure we will do our best to resolve with the supplier directly.  Each case will be looked at individually and the seller will be in contact as soon as we receive an answer from the supplier.  We always do our very best to ensure your satisfaction.  Your complaints will be dealt by us directly with our suppliers, so we can do our best to resolve the issue in the least amount of time possible. 

Legalities

The seller is not responsible for any health or safety concerns once the buyer has received the goods or services.  If any harm is incurred from the items purchased by the buyer, the seller shares no responsibility.  The seller is responsible for reviewing the item is safe for his/her pet(s) and assumes all risk or damage pertaining to that product. Seller is also responsible for using the product according to specifications.

Any dispute arising out of such use of the website is subject to the laws of  British Columbia, Canada.
